How to Book a Vacation Rental

1. Call us directly or search online

  • Search online for the type of property you’d like to rent or call us and we’ll email you properties that match your criteria.
  • Let us know once you’ve found a property of interest and we’ll confirm availability. We’ll then issue a lease and send it to you for your signature.

2. Rental payment procedures

For weekly rentals

  • A copy of the signed lease and the first 50% of the rent, plus a $100 processing fee, is due 5 calendar days after we send the lease to you.
  • The second 50% of the rent, plus the security deposit, is due no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date.
  • Rent and the processing fee can be paid by credit card or check. Please note that the security deposit must be paid by check, not credit card, and personal checks can’t be accepted on the arrival date.

For seasonal rentals

  •  A copy of the signed lease and the first one-third of the rent, plus a $100 processing fee, is due 5 calendar days after we send the lease to you.
  • The due date for the second one-third of the rent will be specified in the lease.
  • The final one-third of the rent, plus the security deposit, is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
  • Rent and the processing fee can be paid by credit card or check. Please note that the security deposit must be paid by check, not credit card, and personal checks can’t be accepted on the arrival date.

3. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be confirmed in writing to our company.
  • We’ll make every effort to re-rent the property for the same period and terms.
  • If the property is re-rented, you’ll be refunded up to the rental amount paid, less a $150.00 cancellation fee. If the property is not re-rented, you will be responsible for the full amount of the rent.

4. Check-In/Check-Out Process

Arriving

  • Unless otherwise instructed, you can pick up your keys at our office between 3:00 and 5:00 P.M. on the day your rental begins. We’re located at 406 Commercial Street (between Dyer St. and Washington St.).
  • If you’re arriving after 5:00 P.M. and you’ve paid in full, give us a call and we’ll arrange to leave your keys for you.
  • In addition to your keys, your welcome packet will include information on accessing the Internet, parking instructions, etc. Most owners also provide their guests with additional information on-site.

Departing

  • Check out time is 10:00 AM unless otherwise stipulated in your lease. Please return all keys to our office at 406 Commercial St. by 10:00 AM. If the office is closed, leave the keys in the drop off box to the left of our front door.
  • Departure delays or excess cleaning may result in charges to you and delay the next tenant’s vacation. Please leave the home in an orderly fashion.
  • Be sure to check all drawers and closets for personal items.
  • We’ll return your security deposit after you check out based on the landlord’s ok. Any deductions taken out of the deposit will be accompanied by an itemized list. Please be sure to update us if you have a change of mailing address.
  • If you would like to rent the same property again next year, let us know and we’ll make the arrangements for you.
